Volunteering at one of our GDC facilities can be rewarding to both the volunteer and to the offenders involved. We have volunteers who have served for many years and are welcoming new volunteers every month. There is a process to become an approved volunteer. Each volunteer should meet the requirements set by GDC and go through the approved training.
Once you become an approved volunteer, you'll receive a volunteer badge. That badge must be renewed each year within a set timeframe. If you miss the deadline for badge renewal, you must go through the new application process again.
