On July 25 at Washington SP, the Washington County Sheriff's Office notified the facility of a possible contraband drop. Deputies conducted a stop on a suspicious vehicle near the facility when 2 civilians jumped out of the vehicle, fleeing from the deputies. The GDC K9 unit and additional law enforcement arrived to assist with the search and apprehended civilians Earl Eutsy and Patrick Gholston. Officer Jebkely was searched, along with her vehicle, and no other contraband was found.
