Contraband Arrests at Multiple State Prisons

On November 26 at Rogers SP, a suspicious vehicle was seen on facility grounds. lTattnall County Sheriff's Office and the GDC canine unit responded to the area. Tattnall County Sheriff's Office observed Civilian Samantha Wycroff walking from the woods and getting into a vehicle.  Civilian Wycroff admitted to throwing contraband over the fence. The confiscated contraband consisted of the following:1,208 grams of meth, 1,996 grams of tobacco, 222 grams of marijuana, 17 bugler packs, and 1 roll of electrical tape. Civilian Wycroff was arrested and taken to the Tattnall County Sheriff's Office with pending charges. 

On November 27 at Calhoun SP, security staff observed Civilian Gydohn Mays tossing a bag over the fence. Calhoun County Sheriff's Office and GDC Canine Unit assisted with the search and arrested Civilian Mays in the woods behind the facility. Civilian Mays was escorted to Calhoun County Jail with pending charges.

On December 1 at Macon SP, Visitor Monica Willingham arrived at the Front Entry of the facility to visit an offender when security staff discovered a bag containing marijuana in her coat pocket. Macon County Sheriff's Office arrested Visitor Willingham with pending charges.

On December 6 at Telfair SP, Telfair County Sheriff's Office observed Civilian Luvante Bellamy in the woodline near the facility. The Telfair County Sheriff's Department apprehended Civilian Bellamy and recovered 02 duffle bags. The Telfair  County Sheriff's Department arrested civilian Bellamy with pending charges.
