Contraband Arrests at Multiple State Prisons

On February 22 at Wilcox SP, a suspicious person was observed attempting to throw contraband in the woods behind the prison. The following contraband was confiscated:  1918 grams of tobacco, 3 saw blades, 1 cell phone, 2 packs of cigarettes,and  1 charger. An unidentified civilian was located and transported to the Abbeville Police Department. 

On February 24 at Wilcox SP, the GDC Canine advised the Abbeville Police Department that there was movement in the woodline near the facility. Civilian Tyrek Respeaa was found with 1 package, which contained 3 cellphones, 4 packs of rolling paper, 2 shirts, 2 masks, 2 sleeves, 3 charging cords, 4 pairs of sneakers, 2 sets of headphones, 904 grams of tobacco, 166 grams of marijuana and 230 grams of cigarettes. Civilian Respeaa was arrested and transported to the Abbeville Police Department.

On February 25 at Ware SP, the GDC Canine unit located 2 unknown suspects in the wood line near the facility. The Ware County Sheriff's Office arrested Civilians Justin Diaz and Louis Sandoval with pending charges. The GDC Canine confiscated a duffel bag with the following: 65 cellphones, 1465 grams of marijuana, 45 grams of MDMA, 5504 grams of tobacco,39 earbuds, 37 charger blocks, 1 drill bit, 2 pair pliers, 9 saw blades, 1 multi-tool, 1 Dremel tool, 14 J-B Weld, 5 super glues, 3 caulks, 1 pack of sewing needles, 1 sand block, 4 roll of tape, 67 packs of bugler, 10 packs of rolling paper, 24 blunt rolling paper, 5 packs of cigars, 5 shirts, 4 vapes, and a pair of shoes.
