Warren Lee Hill to be Executed on January 27

FORSYTH, Ga. — The Lee County Superior Court has ordered the execution of convicted murderer Warren Lee Hill. The court ordered the Georgia Department of Corrections to carry out the execution on a date between January 27 - February 3, 2015. Commissioner Brian Owens has set the date for Tuesday, January 27, at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson at 7 p.m.

Hill was convicted in 1991 for the murder of Joseph Handspike. If executed, Hill will be the 34th inmate put to death by lethal injection.
