Contraband at Dooly State Prison

As of July 2010, The GDC Office of Professional Standards, in conjunction with local & federal law enforcement partners, have investigated or arrested approximately 1,915 staff and civilians for introducing contraband into prisons throughout the state.

On July 17 at Dooly State Prison, two individuals were found attempting to drop contraband near the facility. The following contraband was recovered: a drone, a controller, propellers, drone batteries, marijuana, tobacco, cellphones and chargers. Antonette Brooks and Zacarious Sanders were arrested and transported to the Dooly County Jail.
