Contraband Arrests at Wilcox State Prison

As of July 2010, The GDC Office of Professional Standards, in conjunction with local & federal law enforcement partners, have investigated or arrested approximately 1,664 staff and civilians for introducing contraband into prisons throughout the state.

On March 19 at Wilcox State Prison, unidentified civilians were seen near the facility. A search found Daje Rouse and Cruquavious Waesey. A search found cellphones, tobacco, marijuana, saw blades, scale, charging blocks, chargers, earbuds, super glue and rolling paper. Rouse and Waesey were arrested and transported to the Wilcox County Jail.
