Jennifer Clark Promoted 

FORSYTH, Ga. – Georgia Department of Corrections Commissioner Gregory C. Dozier announced the promotion of Jennifer Clark from Deputy Warden of Care & Treatment to Superintendent at Emanuel Probation Detention Center (PDC) effective September 1, 2017. As Superintendent, Clark will be responsible the daily operations of the facility and overseeing 79 staff and 331 minimum-security male offenders.

“Jennifer is a true leader with over 15 years of experience with the Department,” said Commissioner Dozier. “Her vast knowledge and experience will be a great addition to Emanuel Probation Detention Center.”

Clark began her career with the Georgia Department of Corrections in 2002 as a Secretary at Georgia State Prison (SP). In 2004, she was promoted to the Warden’s Secretary at Georgia SP, and served in that capacity until she was promoted to Business Manager in 2010. In 2012, Clark was promoted to Deputy Warden of Administration at Rogers SP. Jennifer was promoted to Deputy Warden of Care & Treatment at Rogers SP in 2016, where she currently serves. 

Clark holds an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from South University; a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies with an emphasis in Business, Criminal Justice and Justice Administration from Georgia Southern University; and a Master’s degree in Public Safety Administration from Columbus State University. She has completed the following departmental training: Basic Correctional Officer Training (BCOT), Basic Management Training (BMT), Advanced Management Training (AMT), Professional Management Program (PMP), Corrections Leadership Institute (CLI), Governmental Accounting I & II, Warden’s Pre-Command, and Deputy Warden of Care & Treatment Academy.
