Contraband Arrest at Ware State Prison

As of July 2010, The GDC Office of Professional Standards, in conjunction with local & federal law enforcement partners, have investigated or arrested approximately 1,086 staff and civilians for introducing contraband into prisons throughout the stat

On July 15 at Ware State Prison, Ware County Sheriff’s Office noticed a suspicious person at a county work detail site. The Office of Professional Standards (OPS) was notified and searched the area, where they discovered 8 cell phones. Civilian Vincent Campbell was identified and arrested by OPS and placed into the custody of Ware County Sheriff’s Office.
