Video to showcase the experiences of staff and participants
FORSYTH, Ga. – Continuing our mission to provide opportunities for positive change for offenders, the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) is highlighting facility events, specialized units, offender education and training programs across the state in our Real Time, Reel Life video series. These brief videos showcase the experiences of staff and participants in these units and programs.
New videos are released regularly, and are available to view on the GDC YouTube Channel at GACorrections. In this month’s video, get your adrenaline pumping on a ride-along with the men and women of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. GDC investigators serve as part of the multi-state task force, charged with apprehending violent fugitives across the Southeastern United States. Comprised of hand-picked officers from 30 different federal, state and local jurisdictions, the team is supervised by the U.S. Marshal’s Service and combines their resources to do the difficult job of bringing dangerous felons to justice.
