Andrew Howard Brannan to be executed on Tuesday, January 13

Forsyth — The Laurens County Superior Court has ordered the execution of convicted murderer Andrew Howard Brannan. The court ordered the Georgia Department of Corrections to carry out the execution between the dates of January 13-20, 2015. Commissioner Brian Owens has set the date for Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at the Georgia Diagnostic & Classification Prison in Jackson at 7pm.

Brannan was sentenced to death for the January 1998 murder of 22-year-old Deputy Kyle Dinkheller in Laurens County. If executed, Brannan will be the 33rd inmate put to death by lethal injection.
