Inmate Death Under Investigation

FORSYTH, Ga.– Special Agents with the Georgia Department of Corrections’ (GDC) Office of Professional Standards are conducting an investigation on the death of inmate Kealy Williams (GDC #1000571190), as a suspected homicide.
Agents have reason to believe inmate Williams died as a result of injuries sustained during an altercation involving another inmate. Inmate Williams was pronounced deceased by Emergency Medical Services at 9:20p.m. on March 30.
Williams was sentenced in Fulton County to serve Life for Murder.
