Kenneth E. Fults to be executed on April 12

FORSYTH, Ga. – The Spalding County Superior Court has ordered the execution of convicted murderer Kenneth E. Fults. The court ordered the Georgia Department of Corrections to carry out the execution on a date between April 12 and April 19, 2016. Commissioner Homer Bryson has set the date for Tuesday, April 12, at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson at 7 p.m.

Kenneth E. Fults was convicted in 1997 for the murder of Cathy Bounds. If executed, Fults will be the 41st inmate put to death by lethal injection.
