Execution Date Set for Newton County Murderer

Brian Keith Terrell to be executed on December 8
FORSYTH, Ga. – The Newton County Superior Court has ordered the execution of convicted murderer Brian Keith Terrell. The court ordered the Georgia Department of Corrections to carry out the execution on a date between December 8-15, 2015. Commissioner Homer Bryson has set the date for Tuesday, December 8, at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson at 7 p.m.
Brian Keith Terrell was convicted in 2001 for the robbery and murder of John Henry Watson. If executed, Terrell will be the 37th inmate put to death by lethal injection.
