MISSION:

Provide housing for state and county offenders and a general labor force supporting Spalding County Government.

HOUSING:

Six open dormitories with a total of 384 beds and 11 segregation cells.

WORK DETAILS:

Provides offender labor for Public Works Maintenance, Construction Projects, Janitorial Services, Building Maintenance, Park Recreation Services, State Patrol, Griffin Police Department, Griffin Diversion Center, Animal Control, and Water Authority.

Take I-75S to Hwy 19/41 South to Griffin. Take the Griffin bypass to the Williamson Road/Hwy 362 exit and turn left. Take an immediate left onto Justice Boulevard and Spalding County Prison is on the left near the top of the hill.
