Contraband Arrest at Autry State Prison

As of July 2010, The GDC Office of Professional Standards, in conjunction with local & federal law enforcement partners, have investigated or arrested approximately 1,354 staff and civilians for introducing contraband into prisons throughout the state.

On January 11 at Autry State Prison, visitor Steffanie Delamora was arrested by Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office after she brought contraband into the facility during a visit with an offender.
