FORSYTH, Ga. – The Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) is investigating the death of an inmate at Georgia State Prison (GSP) in Reidsville, Ga., as a suspected homicide.

On October 19 at approximately 5:35 p.m., inmate Keith London (GDC#896478) was pronounced deceased by Dr. Andrew Schwemmer at Savannah Memorial Medical Center. His death is believed to be the result of a head injury he received during a fight with another inmate on October 15. GDC is conducting an investigation into the death, as standard procedure.

London was sentenced to Life in Cobb County for murder.
