William Sallie to be executed on December 6

FORSYTH, Ga. – The Bacon County Superior Court has ordered the execution of convicted murderer William Sallie. The court ordered the Georgia Department of Corrections to carry out the execution on a date between December 6-13, 2016. Commissioner Homer Bryson has set the date for Tuesday, December 6, at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson at 7 p.m.

Sallie was convicted in 2001 for the murder of John Moore. If executed, Sallie will be the 46th inmate put to death by lethal injection.
